Christmas came 6 days early to the Ferkingbeal family. The Fed-Ex man arrived early on in the XU vs. Butler game with a present that reduced Chad to a squealing small child:
The Fed-Ex man is our "man of the day," for braving the snow, our driveway, and our steep front steps, all while carrying this monstrosity.
We got to enjoy our new toy for a few hours before heading out to cousins Doug and Abbie's wedding.
It's here now, so what are you possibly going to blog about??? ;-) (C'mon join the millions blogging about their child. You know you want to. Yours is much cuter than theirs.)
While you are correct, Nicole, that my kid is cuter than theirs, I'm not ready to go that route yet. :-) How about just keeping a record of my life in general, and letting Maya enter into the storylines as much or little as she does in real life?
I work the dying industry of Radio, but I love what I do and the company in which I do it.
My husband and I have a daughter, born August 2009, 2 cats, and 9ish fish.
I'm an avid XU basketball and Bengals fan.
I love holidays others consider more obscure, like Oktoberfest and Fat Tuesday.
My family and I reside in Cincinnati, OH. Those from "real" cities may knock it, but we love this city and our lives here passionately. We love to travel, too.
